Anyone have any idea why the IM package on Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) is so
old <http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/imagemagick> - 6.5.7-8? I'm going to
look into updating
it<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide/Complete#Updating_an_Ubuntu_Package>,
but was just wondering if there was a reason not to. Thanks!

Because no one on IM core programming team knows how to create a debian
package!
