Errors in JPG?

Hi all,

A few days ago, I downloaded & edited a free
photograph (JPG) from Stockvault. All went well
until I tried to upload a composite of the
original & edited version to my WordPress blog.
I was notified that the image contained
errors. I tried 'display -verbose -identify [image]', after
which the image was displayed alright, but I
am not quite sure how to interpret all the data.

How can I find out what exactly those errors are?
Or could this be an error in the WP app?

Perhaps your upload system did not like all the profile and exif
data. You could use -strip in IM to remove it all before uploading.

Is the command 'display -strip [image]'? I tried this,
but the EXIF data are still there.
